The morning started off with my kids climbing into my bed around 9am giving me hugs, kisses and a lot of love. For that they got chocolate chip pancakes and lots of kisses.
We got ready to go to my friend's pool and had lunch in her yard.
They had a great time and slept on the way back.
It felt so much like a summer day that I was inspired to make some summer cuisine.
I picked my ripe and huge zucchini from the backyard, took pictures of it and made some pesto sauce with my basil.
All in all it was a perfect summer day.
